Questions everyone asks
Do I need to install an app?
No. Guests point their camera at the table QR code and the menu opens in the browser. The kitchen display also runs in the browser, on any tablet or computer.
How do guests place an order?
They scan the table QR, pick the items, add notes (e.g. "no onions") and send it. The order shows up instantly on the kitchen display, with the table number.
Does the kitchen get orders in real time?
Yes. The display (KDS) updates by itself, plays an alert when a new order arrives and sorts orders into New, Preparing and Ready.
Can I remove an item that ran out?
Yes, with one click. The item disappears from the menu right away and you enable it again when it's back in stock.
Can guests track their order?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Using the phone number on the order, they see the status: Received, Preparing, Ready and Delivered.
Does it work in my country and language?
Yes. Voilà works in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and each business sets its country and the currency of its menu prices. Guests can switch the menu language right on their phone.
What happens when the 14-day trial ends?
Your digital menu stays online and you can keep editing items and prices. Without Pro, guests can no longer send orders from the table and go back to calling the waiter. Subscribe to Pro and table ordering is back instantly.
How is Pro billed?
